I got some new water color pencils for a birthday gift and I had to try them out.

This is going to be fun. I can't wait to do some more.

I made this card for my best friend Dawn, she love purple, I used  Wandas rose eyelt card.  Thans Wanda.

I inked the edge and thu the cut to make the inside colored.

A thank you card for my Sis

I made this card for my sister Cheryl. She helped make my birthday very special. She took me and my kids out for lunch and colored my hair and joined me and my family for dinner a few times over the last week. Thanks Cheryl

Had a GREAT birtday week!!!!

I had the BEST birthday gift show up at my door on Mon. the 15th. Sarah, an exchage student we had in 2000 was in my kitchen when I came home Monday night. she spent the week with us. We had a great time catching up. I hated seeing her leave last night. Her flight was canceled out of Seattle. She left our house at 10pm and drove to Seattle to see if she can get on another flight. she got in Seattle at 4:45am..She has a LONG day ahead. I just hope she gets a flight soon and dose not have to sit in the airport for very long. I wish she was leaving out of spokane so she was closer if she cant get out. here are a few photos of us I have lots but I will just share a few.

I am realy enjoying the time we have with Sarah. (exchange student we had in 2000-2001) last time we saw her was 2003. when we went to Gremany to see her. It was a surprise for me, she and my husband planed it. We all went tuesday to cheer Steve on for the roll off for first place..(he won 1st)  Both our girls and Sarah and our Grandson was there. Christian had a great time with the boys down in the pit. giving high 5's and pounding it with the boys.

Mom gave me my birthday gift early before she left....cash to put towards my new Cricut.. I will be geting the expression next week. I finaly will have enough to get it....I can not wait. I now have the small one...  sorry the light was not that great..

Easter Card --- for Creative Memories party

My best friend is having a Creative Memories party and wanted to have something everyone could make and take. I made this card using the inside of the small oval pattern and the red blade. for the eggs. The wavy rotory blade for the grass,  1 small (1 1/4 circle and 1 (1 1/2) circle from the circle punch, and 2 , 1 inch squares from the square punch. that I trimed for the ears. I wanted to use some of the products to help with her sales.

My first Card Swap

I Join a new group called ARTHavenCreations Friendships.

 I have never done a swap before. I have been learning lots from some of the ladys in the groupI know I am my worse critic. I was very please with what I made.

The topic was a card that uses the colors of Mardi Gras.

Here is another card from the kit that I got.

Great time in Seattle

We stayed at the Warwick it was a  good price and a GREAT view.

We found our DREAM boat. 2010 - 580 Hampton pilothouse for ONLY 1,885,000.00. I now have to buy some lotto tickets. But some day (5-8 years from now) we WILL be living on one like this...At least that is what I keep telling myself.
