Mother's Day Cards

I had some time to work in my craft room today. I made 2 cards for mom's day. Thanks to Birds cards I just found her site and LOVE it. here is the card I made.

I put a small flameless candle with it. Hard to see in photo.

last week I made some cards for the First grandson who will be 5 in June and one for the new Grandson due the end of May first of June.

.

Its sure is nice to be back and making some cards. I dont know how long I will have the time. We are putting the house on the market soon. I will have a lot of work to do we have been in the house for 20 years. But looking forward to a new life in a smaller place.

Mom's 70th Birthday Sock Hop

I know I have not been writing much, I have been busy working on my mom's birthday party with my sisters and it was a GREAT pary. We had around 100 guest and we danced the night away. A great time by all .

Going back to the 50's

My mom is truning 70 in May and us girls are thowing her a party. We are going to take her back to the 50's. I am in charge of the invitations, and I have around 100 - 150 to make so I have already started. I found a photo of a napkin online and saved the photo and printed it out 5x7 and then I took the SVG's I got from SVGcuts the Rockin and Rollin and used the poodle girl and the word party for the front of the cards. I got 16 done this weekend wow this is going to take awhile. I need to go get more paper I just used what I had at home to get started. Here is the pile I did.

Back from Hawaii - Had a GREAT time

I got to go to the big Island of Hawaii with my mom and youngest sister.

We had a GREAT time.

  I will post some more photos later have lots to catch up on.

Time for myself- cards and scrapbook pages

My husband and his 10 year old adopted sister are back in Fargo to see their mom. She is doing better. I know that Sophia needed to see her and see that she is better. We still don't know when she will be coming home. But I have have been using this time to get some cards done and even got a set of scrapbook pages done too.

I get to go to Hawaii with my Mom and youngest sister  I leave Feb 7th.  I am so excited. I made a thank you card for both my mom and sister.
