Wow I finally had some time to work on some cards.

They are all from my Paper Wishes card kit.

It has been very busy around our home. We are trying to sell my mom's home. So lots of cleaning and packing and fixing. Getting my youngest ready for her driving test. She passed the written now has the driving part this Sat. We had to get her car ready. new mirrors, tabs, insurance. and School, and Dance and this year she added Color Guard to the list of stuff to do. I can't wait when she can drive her self it will free up SO much time for me.

Had someone ask how I did the tree.. I hope I can explain it. I am not good at telling just showing.

so here it goes.

first I cut 8 , 2 inch squares

then fold them in half

then open it back up

turn it over and fold 2 of the corners to the middle

Turn back to the front and fold the 2 corners to the middle again

when all 8 are folded glue into a tree shape starting with one on the bottom

then 4 for the bottom layer

then three for the top layer

Bussy Weekend --- lots done

Did not go to the lake this weekend, my Husband had to work. so then I did to..(but I dont get paid for mine)... Sat. started cleaning out the spare room and painted it. Then went into town to have dinner with my eldest daughter and Grandson. On Sunday I finished the painting and made some cards and stickers from my boss and made homemade soup....( now I know why I like going to the boat, my body is tired and sore. but I feel like I got alot done.)

I did not want the back on the card so just traced and cut it off.

Used  a new product from Post-it Craft paper that is sicky on one side just cut and peel ( used it for the letters on the flip flop card and # 2 card)

I really liked it.

Another B-day card from my card kit.  I used a new product to me...Dazzles double sided flowers... I put flock on one side and then stuck to the card. Its kinda hard to see it but if looks cool. here are the flowers. I got them in my card kit from

I made my self

I made my self sit down and work on some cards...I am so glad I did. I just have not felt like doing much. But my family was gone fishing this weekend and I stayed home.

The star one is from my nephew who has a birthday the 3rd of July

This one will be for a girl friend whos birthday is on mothers day this year.

Easter Card --- for Creative Memories party

My best friend is having a Creative Memories party and wanted to have something everyone could make and take. I made this card using the inside of the small oval pattern and the red blade. for the eggs. The wavy rotory blade for the grass,  1 small (1 1/4 circle and 1 (1 1/2) circle from the circle punch, and 2 , 1 inch squares from the square punch. that I trimed for the ears. I wanted to use some of the products to help with her sales.

I Join a new group called ARTHavenCreations Friendships.

 I have never done a swap before. I have been learning lots from some of the ladys in the groupI know I am my worse critic. I was very please with what I made.

The topic was a card that uses the colors of Mardi Gras.
