I made this svg for my daughters shower I am thinking of using a pink and brown flower paper for the back  ground and then pink for the letters and print the info on vellem and then use a bow to tack on teh vellem.

when I get one done I will post a photo.

Carlie's Dance group did a mob flash dance at the Art on the Green here is the video.  Carlie is on the right side long hair up stage.  They had so much fun doing this.

Taking Photos - Senior photos

Wow !!! what a week ! It's not easy to get things back in order after being gone for 2 weeks... (I need another vaca. ha ha) I did have fun taking Carlie's senior photos here is the first set...

We still have some to do with her dance stuff. I am very pleased with how they turned out.

Now we just have to pick the one for the year book and her slide show for the school.

Art On The Green - Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

Carlie's first year in "Dance Time Theater Company" They danced at Art on the green in Coeur d'Alene on Sat July 31st.  It's preaty cool they have local artist booths and music and dancers.

Finally had time to work on a card!!!

I finally had some time to work on a card. We are getting ready for Vacation next week and Carlie taking a summer dance class that is every day from 5-9pm I have not had much time. It is from my new card kit from paperwishes.com

Senior Photo time

My youngest it going to be a senior next year and we are starting the "Senior Photo" time. We are thinking of using this one for one of them and the first 2 weeks of Aug when we are on vacation I am going to try and get some more done.

So I just had to make a SVG to go with it. I hope you like it and someone can use it.

While looking for inspiration, a team at WK12 (an experimental agency based within the Wieden + Kennedy advertising firm) came across a story about a young girl who needed to move in order to learn

“… In first grade, Paula Jones was assessed as 'learning disabled.' By sixth grade she was still at the first grade reading level when one empathetic teacher recognized her poise and graceful movements. This teacher encouraged Paula to go home and spell out the alphabet using her arms and legs as though she were a ballerina. Paula came in the very next morning dancing the letters and then sequencing all 26 into a unified performance. Within a week she moved from dancing words to writing them. By the end of 6th grade she was reading and writing at grade level. And the following year a 'learning disabled' Paula earned above-average grades. "

Working on Carlie's Dance book

I am so far behind..... I had to find the pic's and put them in order UGG...

I could not remember what dance went to what year...

I am making a book from the first year Carlie started dance thur her senior year,

and that is next year... I just finish 2006 and started 2007.

For a friend .... U of W logo

I found a font that looked like the W for University of Washington and a clipart of a huskies to make these for a SCAL Yahoo group friend. (Marilyn in OR) I myself am a supporter of the WSU Cougars (niece and brother in law go there). but some of my best friends are dogs. Even my boss. I hope you like them Marilyn.

Last show of the year..:(

The show's title was shipwrecked.

The kids do most of the choreographing for the dances.

The first dance she was a "high society" Lady

we fond the dress at a thrift store and added the feathers to the bottom.

The next dance she was in was "lost souls"

 after the shipwreck

the 3rd dance she was in was "spiders" on the island that the survivors land on.

She always wanted to dance in a TUTU and have RED point shoes... and here she got both. I started to tear up watching her dance this one. knowing how long she has wanted this. It is soooo cool to see things your kids dream about come true.!!

She is the one 2nd from the right.
